Deutsch: Paarungsrad der Weidenjungfer (Chalcolestes viridis) im Ahlenmoor, nördliches Niedersachsen. Das obere Tier ist das Männchen. Beachte den, die Weidenjungfer kennzeichnenden, nach vorne gerichteten Zipfel in der seitlichen Thoraxzeichnung und die einfarbig hellockeren bis hellbraunen, von dunklen Adern umrandeten, Pterostigmata.
English: Mating wheel of Willow Emerald Damselflies (Chalcolestes viridis) in the Ahlenmoor, a peatland in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. The upper animal is the male. Consider the characteristic, forward directed tip in the lateral thorax markings and the light brown colored pterostigmata bordered by dark veins.
