For a file to be {{FoP-Tanzania}} appliable, the file must be audiovisual, a static picture would simply violate the releted rules. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 00:13, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- Though, I wonder which files should actually apply that tag. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 00:16, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- Comment For the record, the depicted sculpture is a work by Clara Sörnäs, a Swedish sculptor, see [1]. --AFBorchert (talk) 08:20, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
- @AFBorchert: is the sculptor alive or deceased? I apologize I can't read Swedish(?). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 15:54, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- @JWilz12345: She is alive and active. --AFBorchert (talk) 16:46, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
- Comment per COM:FOP Tanzania, Zanzibar has its own copyright law that does not grant FOP, but allows free uses of images of works of folklore. Is this monument a work of folklore or not? JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 02:53, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with Zanzibar's case law in these matters but I do not think that this applies here as a piece of modern art is unlikely to count as folklore – which usually subsumes traditional music, tales etc. --AFBorchert (talk) 07:16, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- If Zanzibar allows folklore images to be free reproducted, then I'm afraid that creation of {{FoP-Zanzibar}} should be considered. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 09:51, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Liuxinyu970226: the only question is, what constitutes folkloric artworks? I tend to agree with AFBorchert above, that the scope will be so narrow, that works must have some qualities of traditional music, tales, etc.. Perhaps plaques that show traditional literature of Zanzibaris. But IMO most works that are classed as folkloric works should be in public domain now, as folklore encompasses works from many generations. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 10:03, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
